I miss these kind of shows. Or maybe it's me, i don't know. Each season there used to be that random series I picked up to fill my quota, they didn't look like much but I ended up loving them and still remember them years later.
I feel like I don't get them these days, either I'm unlucky (very possible) in my picks at the start of a season, or either they're just that forgettable nowadays.

Are the henneko LNs worth reading? Are they raunchier than the anime at all? I am basically just looking for the ecchi parts. Anime seemed like it didn't have much in the way of meaningful ecchi. I wonder if the LN might describe things more, or have stuff that the anime cut out?

They're light novels for a reason. A volume only takes an afternoon even if you're a slow reader. No big deal if you end up not wanting to continue.

I didn't watch the anime because it seemed like there weren't, and it's kind of a pet peeve of mine when they unrealistically hide nipples and stuff in ecchi shows. That's why I was asking if the LNs might be any better in that respect. Maybe not full on nips, but better fanservice, more explicit, stuff that got cut for the anime, etc.
