Anime Bleach had common sense to place Rukia and Ichigo at the forefront with Chad, Renji, Uryu tagging along.


Orihime has no chemistry with anymore. In the movies, Orihime doesn’t do jackshit because her character isn’t strong enough for good interaction. In the filler arcs she’s trash there too because the writers couldn’t come up with anything for her in character. The last arc should’ve had Rukia and Ichigo developing together not dogshit like the bambies and cameos from useless characters like fucking charlette of all things.

Aizen is a massive aspect of the better parts of Bleach, the best villains serve as dark mirrors to your protagonist and creates a more engaging narrative. This is why Batman is more popular than Superman, his antagonists blow his out of the water. Yhwach isn't as good of a character, it feels like an overpowered repeat of Aizen but 10x worse.
