It is 100% true though anon. The battle arcs and dramatic stuff in something like Illya are shit, while the SoL is the best. Maybe you like battle stuff or whatever, but I personally much prefer artsy fun stuff. I realized long ago that it doesn't matter what the characters are actually doing on screen to be entertaining. Most people just want to see the result of the fight anyway, stuff that can still be achieved through conversations. If liking SoL makes me some imaginary /v/ boogeyman (a board almost identical to /a/ anyway), then so be it.

IIRC King of the Hill's animation was outsourced to Korea, same with Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Boondocks. Probably a lot of other stuff too.
