I just finished the Mugyu route. All things considered, I think the Anime did a really good job with it, far better than Kamome's route in fact. It's just, there's no really helping how poor the writing is for Mugyu's route, which is why I believe it felt so lackluster in the Anime as well.
I guess the only really good routes are Ao and obviously Shiroha.
The Anime is also really setting everything up for the Shiroha route to take focus too, which is nice since she's 2nd best girl.
