Unfiltered cinema. Love them both for different reasons. The OG Hellsing with its Gothic horror aesthetic drew me back into anime after I had grown tired of Shounen alop and Hellsing Ultimate is also pure kino, altough bit of a shame that they dropped the darker aesthetic even if they did for Manga accuracy.

A shame that animes like these are no given the attention they deserve in these days and ages.

I only watched the old one and when I see scenes from Ultimate I feel that the animation and overall quality is better but the scenes just don't have the same punch as the old one.
