One of the things that I think annoys me the most about remakes is the need to "remove filler" just to make things short for the modern ADD audience. Because heaven forbid we actually enjoy shows on an episode to episode bases and not as something that needs to be rushed so you can add it to a list. A lot of old shows might have gone of the manga script but but that's not always for the worse and I miss just being able to enjoy a show as a long term show and not some flavor of season that will get dropped ASAP.
