She's probably the cause of Gene's Zaku acting up, forcing Char to take field command in the Project V investigation mission.

Char isn't happy about it. He feels stifled by her presence and while he does want to protect her, Lalah's influence is incredibly destructive and he's willing to put her out of her misery to protect the rest of the world from the Zeknovas she causes. On the other hand, westoids use monomyth structure for serialized series and story circle structure for episode slop. Both of these have a much larger falling action, the climax happens much earlier, and there is no "twist", instead the climax feeds into the resolution directly without "changing fucking everything" like kishoutenketsu's twists.
