Maybe its even more juvenile than that, it might just be an unreasonable sense of indignation for having their mood ruined, as normalfags are so used to their spiritual stasis that any complaint that invites introspection feels like an attack. A sense of anger toward the person for daring to make the normalfag not even feel bad about themselves but about anything at all.
