Gundam has not turned into a "moe/yuri/loli" but it is true that many entries in the last years starting with Reconguista in G has seriously dialled down the war aspects of Gundam with war being either absent or in the background and often having the characters not being directly tied to it this is fully the case with the G-Reco IBO and G-witch and now with G-Quacks too i am honestly not a fan of this trend and i don't know why it has been enforced so consistently

Thing is this was the mean reason the Gundam franchise gathered an audience in the first place to just change it so suddenly is guaranteed to alienate many people there's plenty of ways to change things up and keep the franchise fresh and this is not one of them!
