he already did that in the burning server room when he shot the lock
Hieda kept poking him about it too since she apparently couldn't remember what happened at all and didn't really buy the story that it was her
>she actually fell for the fake Bigga call for real
god dammit. and here I thought Hieda asking her about her classes meant she was suspicious of it and testing her, and only going along with it to lure out the perpetrator
>it was the forensics guy
called it. he was the prime suspect imo from the moment it was revealed that the murderer knew the police proceedings. meant he must have been one of them most likely, but at the same time he either could have never met an hIE (unlikely, or else we as the audience wouldn't know him) or he must have been unreadable for hIEs (only one guy who fits the bill).
he also had the whole "unemotional 99% of the time no matter what" trait.
Hieda basically only has one option now. Shoot the guy in the head and claim all shots were fired by her.
Every other action she takes and Harold ends as a toaster

It's really the only option. Napolov knows too much, and Echika is well aware of what would happen to Harold if word got out he's not bound by the three laws.

I suspect Hieda on some level knew it would end like this from the beginning anyway.
She clearly suspected Harold of having shot open the door lock, and she also tried to keep him away from the Nightmare as much as she could.
Then again, seeing how she walks into every obvious trap, maybe I am overestimating her.
