I am a character Toriyama constantly treated as a punching bag and a joke, I only got shoehorned into a 'rival' role with Goku 20 years after the original series ended. How my fans cope with this, you ask? They cling to 3-0 despite my character arc ending with me admitting i could never catch up to Goku and that he's number one.
