It's way too early for that, and even if they could expel invaders, that doesn't mean they can expel Admiral-class threats. Everyone's gonna have to train their fucking asses off if they wanna protect Wano on without Yamato's help. As it stands, Yamato is the greatest and most potent protection that Wano has by an extremely wide margin.

To be honest, I'm 90% certain the reason Yamato exists is because Oda probably realized that he needs some way to make sure Wano can protect itself without Luffy. The thing about Yamato, though, is that she doesn't really have a far-off dream. She wants to sail the seas someday, but that's a vague and rather easily achievable dream that she's merely put on hold because she's prioritizing Yamato's protection. Plus, she wants to sail with Luffy someday as well. Maybe she'll change her mind, but for now at least, Yamato's long-term goal for seafaring seems to primarily become a member of the Straw Hats. NTA, but we have no idea on their whereabout or if the BPs that were kept in Udon Prison were all taken out of the country with Ryokugyu when he called for a ship. That's another subplot that lingering that Oda is likely going to finally confirm with the current cover story, because's being really vague on King's location, despite showing him recently. I think Jack and Perospero whereabouts, along with the former Orochi loyalists will get addressed too by the end, but we still haven't gotten the Yakuza sub-bosses and they are suppose to support the different regions of Wano.

I think it's just going to be a quick update. Other than Who's Who, we know Sasaki is the only confirmed pirates out of the Tobiroppo and it's given that Queen and even fucking Speed had personal flagships--so those in the know should have been able to escape, but this I doubt. We don't know where people like Apoo are at, and he was directly selling secrets to the outside world. It wouldn't look good on his schemes if someone else could freely come and go.

As gay as power of love would be, it would fit extremely well with onepiece themes and would give weaker characters a meaningful upgrade without unjustifiably giving them advamced armament or COC.
Would also help even out the crew as current top 3 don't really "love" anything,
Luffy is ambivalent to love and just values freedom.
Zoro doesn't love anything and desires power.
Even Jinbe would admit to being unworthy of love but fights out of duty.
Whereas...

Usopp loves stories of heroes as a result of lacking a father figure.

Sanji loves defenseless thing as a result of being the weakest and his mothers sacrifice.

Brook loves music and life as a result of his death and loneliness.

Robin loves found family after losing everything.

Chopper can awaken his df and franky can upgrade while nami remains the weakest.
