With Hinata, it's more than people don't care about her at all. They see her as a prop rather than a character. They're more angry with Kishi in any case and sometimes SSfags too because they're the main reason why NH happened.

Some women genuinely hate Orihime but most Ichihimes are female. The Ichirukis are just very loud

Who the fuck hates Hinata other than shippers she directly offended by winning? She's the most beloved female character in Naruto. Sakura is the most hated girl in that series (and honestly with good reasons) but she also has a bunch of fangirls that want to be with Sasuke through her. Orihime's a case where the anime committed character assasination with her, and some shippers always were always going have bad blood against her because she got with Ichigo.
