Generally I find it depends on how much it affects your day-to-day, people with partial hearing loss aren't generally that bitter about it because hearing aids basically negate it, at that point it becomes like wearing glasses for your ears, just a minor inconvenience which costs a lot of money every decade or so when you upgrade.

I’m physically disabled myself (not wheelchair bound or anything, but I have some motor control issues and a limp), and I feel as though caring for a severely disabled girl would be difficult when in reality I need a girl who could support me.
