It's more a problem of scale than anything. That's why characters like Elder God Demonbane are just boring or overly frustrating to use in powerscaling.

I know this is largely futile but I want to make this post anyways. Trying to convince baiters and people who love to argue to stop doing what they do is pointless but I want to make my plea known.

Could we just stop it with the manga discussion? Every manga thread, and every webcomic chapter release thread is full of this constant, repetitive, cyclical arguing. The reason I'm here reading this storytime is to enjoy going through a cherished series with other anons and talking about it, as well as getting opinions from first time readers.

Constantly comparing it to what is in essence a separate series and having massive shitflinging sessions over it at the bottom of every thread does not lend itself to good discussion. I know for those who feel the same that I'm preaching to the choir and for those who just want to bait that this doesn't matter but these threads would be so much better if we just celebrated the actual work being dumped instead of a different version.

Whether or not you like or dislike the manga I'd have for every single storytime thread to just be infested with manga comparisons. We've already argued this to death, there's nothing more to be gained.

Murata has talked about spoilers on stream multiple times. That is how we know there was a plan to have Orochi fight Tatsumaki even before it happened, so it's clear spoilers aren't why Murata stopped.

Both Murata and ONE have posted storyboards directly on to their social media accounts. "Not streaming anymore" does not correlate to not wanting to post the storyboards anymore when Murata and ONE could easily post the storyboards whenever they want on social media, Murata at least is still incredibly active.

I'm still amused by how gloriously dysfunctional the Hero Association manages to be. It's little wonder how so many people eventually lose faith in them when they act like this.

Just imagine how different things could've been if they, instead of throwing Saitama to C-class for a bad essay despite breaking all records, they'd just mark him for a special evaluation by a high-rank hero who would be better able to judge his strength.
Like, what if they just asked Darkshine to take him over to the gym to check out his potential, and Darkshine just ends up flabbergasted by Saitama's strength and has the Association make Saitama S-class, too, while himself becoming utterly obsessed with this guy who manages to be such much stronger than himself despite his thin little arms, and completely redoing his own training regimen just to imitate him (he might lose faith in his own abilities, but I imagine Saitama would be trying to encourage him, at least).

I wonder how much of this ONE actually planned out, or if he's more like Toriyama and going with the flow but sticking to enough of the established concepts that it all comes together as a whole in the end.

The impression I get is the association managed to be decadent largely because all the really strong monsters are getting wiped out by Saitama already, and they had a pretty low volume of monsters up until now.
