When he came back Benwood does complain that he left everything to them, but I don't remember anyone saying how long ago he disappeared, and fuck, if you disappear for FIFTEEN FUCKING YEARS, I would expect everyone to think he was dead, not that kind of reaction we had.
Actually to begin with, if he really disappeared 15 years ago, that would mean Yuke was 5 when he disappeared, he should barely even fucking remember him then.

That sounds incredibly stupid. This series has some dumb stuff in it, sure, but staying 15 years in a dungeon (or 6 months for him supposedly), without going out for supplies or anything and not giving a shit that everyone you know might die in the meantime, might top it all.
