Also everyone whos not a giant contrarian agrees that the dub is better. I can remember everyone's voice off the top of my head. Hiei's voice actor still shows up in few anime modern animes.

Counter-counterpoint, 4Kids Sanji is way better than the Funimation dub because, as other replies to you pointed out, at least he's memorable.
YYH has a fantastic dub. I won't throw any shade at the Japanese dub because I've never heard it, but they knocked it out of the park with the English dub.

Love the Voices (including Kuwabara's) but the script changes hurt. I hate Funi for doing that all the time. The "cool" toonami bumper tiktok edit dialogue is pretty cool I won't lie. I'll have to watch in nip but it's alright.

I recently rewatched it dub after remembering how I used to loved the dub, yeah it was pretty bad. I think everyone just loved the cheesyness of it. They ironically had more energy and character in those old dubs than modern dubs. Modern dubs just sound so factory made now. I swear I wouldn't be surprised if they got AI to automatically assign rolls based on that anime character's looks.

Obviously, but there's really no way to undo the damage for shows like this. Any thread will be filled with dubniggers who worship localization companies and it's easier to just avoid them entirely.
