Cygames is a breath of fresh air. It is the one who will save the industry. They should avoid putting a troon in the main cast and hire a better translation team for their overseas games, but otherwise, they're doing well.

I liked Apocalypse Hotel more than I expected to and it's probably my favorite this season.
The gundumb fanfic was more boring than I expected.
Lazarus was a disaster.

That's about it. In general because of sequels getting more common I have more 'never picked up' shows than ever, since I didn't like them two or three seasons ago to begin with.

This was overally a really, really good season, probably my favorite in years i think. All of these shows were super fun. Almost nobody watched Nazotoki but i really liked it, i'll miss stupid detective HanaKana. Ninkoro really takes AOTS for me though, its a glorious return to form for Shaft.

It started promising, but the pacing was all over the place, and I don't like all the memberberries. There's still one more episode to go, so it's hard to make a final judgment, but it's definitely Tsurumaki's weakest work.

A surprisingly comfy comedy with some nice and heartfelt moments. Being an anime original is also very nice. Waiting for the final episode, who knows how it'll end.

I knew what to expect, and they delivered. Looks better than the original show, and the manga was adapted very faithfully. However, it's for MHA fans only.

A super-retro shonen with some of the finest animation in the genre. Watched mostly for the animation and Aoyama's character designs. Fun stuff.

The humor is super good, even though the animation was lacking sometimes. But it's VERY shoujo. Feels like it should've been serialized in a shoujo magazine, not Jump.

A sleeper hit of the season. Cute girls travel around Japan, with lots of fun trivia and touristy showcases, my weeb soul loved it to bits.

Honestly, I skipped a lot of shows I wanted to watch because there was too much on my plate already. Hibimeshi, Mono, OreAku, Ballpark, and some others. Maybe eventually. Overall, this was a fucking amazing season, completely overloaded with good shit. I haven't been so busy with anime in years.

I watched HibiMeshi and Witch Watch. WW got old very fast, I should've dropped it after the airbending faggot arrived but whatever. It did have a solid OP. I rate 4.5/10.
HibiMeshi was pretty good. Loved the OP, the ED, the characters, and it had some great bits, but the plot/script was too bland overall. 6.5/10.

No, Not a shounenfag but Ennen no Shoubotai is unfairly ranked due to the adaptation having taken so goddamn long to adapt so even fans of the series were very clueless from the start and can testify from irl people. For me it was:

Idk, but Apocalypse Hotel was absolutely #1 this season and nothing can even fucking come close.
This is definitely in the runner up for anime of the year. If you think otherwise - you have confirmed fucking trash taste and should kill yourself.

I’m still trying to figure out how I was duped by /a/ into watching Shoushimin. I don’t get the appeal, all the characters were unlikable. I will give it that the production value was great and you could tell it was given love by the producers.

The latest Apocalypse Hotel episode sealed the deal for me. Brilliant healer, Country bumpkin, Ninkoro, and then everything else.

There really isnt anything else like apocalypse hotel this season, and I doubt there will ever be - next season, or the season after, too. Maybe Gorilla in 5th place, but otherwise this season was fucking dominated by Gingarou. Nothing even came close.

It has fanservice and quasi incest, that alone is worth celebrating and on top of that it's enjoyable. However, since it has those controversial elements it's rated as low as Country Bumpkin which has fights that look like a PS2 cutscene and is getting a season 2.
I'm not saying it's a masterpiece, just that it's underrated, a decent fun show and not the garbage it's made out to be.
