Yeah, the old anime added more fanservice if anything, for example in that chapter where Ranma and Akane have a giant Ping Pong match in the manga they're wearing yukatas, the 1989 anime changed it to One Pieces with bareleg/barefoot Ranma, they also had anime original episodes with nudity and the same arc that anon posted added 2 naked female Ranma scenes in the bath

They adapted it right after Shampoo left in the anime, that's why, they adapted a lot of shit out of order but it was thanks to the anime that we got Ukyo since the OC they used for this episode was a proto Ukyo, they made up for it by giving Shampoo many anime original episodes, plus it was thanks to the filler that we also got other cute girls and I will gladly take any of the 1989 anime original girls over Ichiro (the reporter), the nameless cameraman and the new classmates that the censored 2024 anime created

They're obviously going to skip many characters and chapters just like the censored Urusei Yatsura remake did, even if you dislike "old" anime or something the only way to see the other manga characters animated would be watching the old show which also just like UY is the one with nipples, of course you can claim that this version will rush to the final arc to finally see it animated but the final arc had plenty of nudity so it would sadly be heavily censored still, regardless of that I'm betting this adaptation will be about 48 episode total just like the Urusei Yatsura remake

They have to be about a popular franchise, include popular girls, and be popular among the crowd that buys ero-doujinshi. For example, Spy x Family gets doujins precisely because it's something everyone recognizes, and everyone wants to bang Yor (and in some cases Anya). The same goes for something like MHA or Konosuba. Franchises have to prove themselves before they start getting doujins.
On the other hand, gacha games are perfect for doujins - they have gigantic casts of girls, they're popular with the otaku, and they're evergreen. A Blue Archive doujin is guaranteed to sell to a very large crowd.
