If Hima and Shinobi were doing twice as good as Kiyoshi that would be one thing, but the difference between 15k and 12k is essentially nothing, if we're being real for a second here. If any of the three get axed at this point it'll be because the audience response is sinking and/or they're getting genuinely mogged by new series that are selling far better than any of them currently are.

As long as a manga isn't cancelled and the author has the will to keep going, it can continue. No matter how contrived it may seem, it can find a reason to keep the story going.

There was 1 case in 25 years of 1 year old manga getting finished not long after getting 1st anniversary cover and maybe 4 cases of manga getting 1st anniversary cover but ending before hitting 2nd Anniversary.

It's nothing like UU, UU sold relatively ok by current standards but peaked early and then fell into gradual decline. Kiyoshi's sales are stagnating at 12k.
