I really don't like that Bakugami got defeated here. I feel like he had potential to be a recurring villain and share a plotline with his affection for World Hater.

I think it's interesting that Ichi will have an evildoer that will try to sabotage him on a whole other level than Uroro inside him. He might pull Jikishirone like possession shenanigans on him. Also Bakugami's power might be key to defeating WH, since the trial might be linked to emotions (WH hiding his face after grinning at Ichi)
Really solid end to the arc. Like in Iruma, Nishi sometimes struggles with pacing; with more economical panelling, this arc could've been condensed by a few chapters at least. I also think Ichi and Goku becoming best bros was kind of abrupt. Going forward, I hope Nishi refocuses on character interactions and dynamics (which is what she excels at), and actually gives Kumigi some meaningful screentime.

Perhaps when Ichi's world reaches the realm of cybernetics they will be able to have men use magic but you will still need to become near full machine to be able use magic as good as a woman.

Good enough ending for the arc. I knew what they were going for, but I wish we had more character interactions happening alongside the lore dump. But otherwise, this is pretty enjoyable, especially when binging the arc on re-read.

That's somehow the consistent problem Nishi has. It's the same in Iruma too. reading weekly feels like it's dragging on, but for a binge reading, it's okay.
I recently binge read the deviculum arc and find the progression is actually decent even though most people complained the climax was meh when it was releasing weekly

Arc is fine afterwards for sure. Its that most of the buildup got unanswered in the arc or got interrupted by phone calls. Most of the unanswered buildup didn't get a closure untill after the arc ended in the post arc. Soo yes, reading it weekly was blueballing as hell. And I think its important for readers to know that in this weeks chapter
