Akudama drive, was a fun journey, with a lackluster destination. I mean, I dont even remember that well how it ends, and that impplies that the ending was either lackluster / bad / fell flat on its face. It was not a bad series by any means, I member it having good premise, production, settings and designs, bu in the end, it was kinda forgettable. I would reccommend it for the production values.

The extended ending was the best part of the anime. Was almost prepared to drop it over the cuhrazee ragtag group of psychos introduction, but the last few episodes finally affixed some poignancy and resolution to the excellent scene direction.

What was the extended ending? I heard back then that the BD would have a different ending but I never got around to it after it was released.
