I'm on Chapter 7 of the visual and I'm not sure how it's going to end? It seems like Rintaro is going down a path of insanity to try and tip the world line to 1%. I'm extremely surprised Mayuri is bound by fate to die, Kirusu's @chan references, and watching Rintaro chunibyo facade start to crumble. The anime worth a watch?

My first exposure to it was the dub, which was godawful (my college roommate made me watch it dubbed). Then I read the VN, which was so much better it salvaged the entire experience.
I like it because the quieter interactions feel a lot more real and human than a lot of others I've seen in other series.
I also think the romantic buildup between Okabe and Kurisu feels pretty natural too, at least in the VN. Being able to read his thoughts helps immensely and you lose out a lot of that in the anime.
