>>279920473Tragic story is not necessary when kuudere is the tragic by itself. Tragic is that the hero fails to respond properly to natural laws and the downfall is inevitable. For kuudere the central tragic is their failure in responding equally and positively when receiving appreciation such as praises, admiration and thanks, choosing to downplay it and cut the celebration short unceremoniously. Similarly when receiving affection they respond with keeping the distance than reciprocate. This is the tragedy by itself.
One can be perfectly loved and cared for and still end up like this for 3 reasons: unaware, unable, or unwilling.
The unaware are not learned of these rules. Either they are not made aware by asking to paid attention to it. Social situation high or low can create the alienation and sheltering that causes social rules and practices being ommitted.
The unable are about being defective and unskilled. They are aware by now but it's still not happening. Things feel forced to say with a stone face and missed the right timing so it comes off worse. In the case of a robot, the module or software is defective or missing straight from the factory, perhaps medical conditions too for human.
Lastly the unwilling, blinded by ideas and perceptions that aren't true. one can believe in naively or later cope with ideas such as their superior performance is not that impressive and unworthy of praise when taking their roles and class too seriously; due to prior failure, even if the social skills has improved overtime, the correction is too much to make and the cold norm is better; the belief that it is better to escape and hide if their inadequacy can only do harm by association and in partnership.
Overtime these ideas mix with turmoils inside and outside and they began to detest the rule others. The feeling of inadequacy replace by unchecked superiority and the uncaring aloofness truly take root with growing hostility and resentment.
