There's a lot of reasons to argue that old Doraemon is better, and I mostly agree, but Shizuka-chan in Wasabi Doraemon is so much better than in the older episodes. Yeah sure some purists are going to argue that old Shizuka-chan was better because she was naked so often, but modern Shizuka-chan is actually cute and the original looks like shit (I'm not sorry). I would rather see a cute girl in clothes than an ugly girl naked.
And modern Shizuka-chan's voice is way better. Sometimes I can't help but to laugh at Shizuka's voice when I watch the old movies.
