Is the movie worth watching?

i haven't seen it but it's apparently just a recap with some new scenes. it's not worth it, skip it. penguindrum is good because it takes its time. they probably made the movie in the first place to gather funding for ikuhara's next show

Despera’s always gotten minor updates, and yeah he did give a release window that they’re aiming for, as long as they can grab a studio that’s up to the task and wants to do it, but it might end up being past 2027 if they can’t get it rolling fast enough.

I interpreted it differently. It's in production between 2024-2027. Also the studio and the director have been decided long time ago since he said "the studio supposed to produce it has been very busy"
