I genuinely don't think Miura had neither the body, and even if he had it, not even the extra time to finish Berserk. He was too fucking ambitious which was great but dear God, it fucked him up and killed him.

I've only scanned the first release as it didn't grip me, but it still looks better than a lot of other seinen out at the moment. It makes Tower Dungeon look like garbage but that's not saying much. There's no "vision" or "artistry" probably because Mori or whoever's in charge isn't willing to "fill in gaps" like an actual director/writer that Miuri typically would going beyond just a simple manuscript.

thing is, mori is just his 'friend', and his knowledge of the plot is the bits and pieces Miura talked to him about, sometimes. as far as i know, there are no notes. some 'friend' he is to piss all over Miura's life work like this.
the art is done by the team of Miura's assistants, primarily Kurosaki who is just a guy who is really good at imitating Miura's artstyle.... and, well, you can see for yourself how good he is at that.
