They have explained since the very beginning that first, Amicus are a scam, and second, Harold is the only Amicus in the world that exist programmed to be genuinely sentient, Harold having all these "gadgets" ready for emulate and slowly evolving to learn how to use them on his own is the very theme of the show. I really wished this got another season but that's never ever happening.

Bigga was extremely cute.

Well, just finished watching the last episode. Overall I thought it was pretty good. I liked that it tried to have some amount of flair and visual symbolism. The slightly stilted pacing and apparently skipped backstory didn't particularly bother me.
One thing that kept irking though, is why the fuck do all these law enforcement officials refuse to concretely notify others of what they're doing and where they're going when dealing with a god damn serial killer? But I guess that's a problem with most procedurals.

If we talk about Sozon, he was led to a place "out of bounds" and caught by surprise, I guess you could say that under the context one would take precautions before walking anywhere but that's easier said than done and at that point they literally had no clue on how The Nightmare worked.
And Echika, well, it's Echika, I think is pretty consistent how dumb she is.

And technically speaking, wasn't Echika the only law enforcement that fell for this trick? I don't remember.

But then again, her super special detective ability is to be exactly where she needs to be to get kidnapped, have the villain then monologue about their means, motive, and opportunity to her, and then have one of the other characters show up to stop the villain before they can murder her.

Well, that's that. To be honest, I think I would have dropped this a few episodes in if the MC wasn't so fucking flat.
