>>279986510I remember a manga about a young cartoonist who, for reasons he had to raise a young girl, moved to an apartment complex. There, he met the young neighbor and landlady (a recent high school graduate, I don't remember exactly) who lived with her mother, who was almost always absent, and her stepfather, a famous manga artist.
The young neighbor is treated as the love interest for part of the manga. Several funny things happen, and this plot is left secondary. Meanwhile, the protagonist ends up working for her stepfather as mangaka assistant.
At the end of the manga, it's revealed that the young neighbor girl was in love with her stepfather. The stepfather divorces his wife and marries his stepdaughter, and everyone acts as if it's normal. The mother just stands aside, and the protagonist shows no reaction to his boss marrying his ex-love interest.
It was so weird, maybe I didn't understand it properly. I read it a long time ago.
