For me the Challia and Xavier pay off was more about Xavier finally finding his voice. He'd put up with so much bullshit throughout the series without batting an eye, but Challia acting suicidal was what made him snap and actually start crying. And his compassion ties back in to Challia's statement in the novel about having no one who cares for him - like with Machu with Shuji, he was able to bring the highlights back to his eyes.

I expect him to get more things like figures in the future. Usually my most favorable characters are the ones who get no merch beyond a keychain or so years later if at all. The best thing is probably more i7, you could have content for months if you're really interested. Special side stories (game anniversary ones are dubbed and very funny), official AUs (Danse Macabre's fully dubbed), RabbitChat and RabbitTV, some interviews that are not in the game, there's also the random PS Vita game called Twelve Fantasia. Most things are easy to find translations too if you need that.

Worth in my opinion, but it's not really similar to i7. Mostly a dumb fun show, including the "serious" plot, webm related. The audio dramas might be cooler if you're into that, I never listened to them though.
Marginal#4 and Sekkou Boys are very funny, and shows like Technoroid and Kami Kuzu Idol are nice if you want more plot with singing boys.

Since I discovered our local library has a stuff full of fujos, they had ordered all the volumes of Heaven official's blessing. I've been reading it through and I'm having a blast. I'm almost done with the fourth volume and it's hilarious to actually witness how thirsty Xie Lian is for Hua Cheng. This is my first Danmei and I have to admit, it's rather well written and interesting to read even if you know the story already. I love Xie Lian and Hua Cheng like you wouldn't believe. Roland is the best kind of character. Although I did ship him with noe.
ships aside, he's the type of character I really like. A smart persona behind a carefree bubbly type of personality. In that regard you don't actually know what any of them are thinking or their true intentions.
I in the manga at least it shows that he was willing to change his ideas he knew that the church wasn't that great of a institution but he believed in some of the causes. Knowing a vampire has slightly changed his perspective. Overall I think he's a really good character so far I hope that the mangaka doesn't ruin his character later on. So in the end you get two characters from him you get a really nice bubbly type of himbo character. On the other side do you get a really nice reflective and intrinsically motivated character. He may be in the organization but it doesn't necessarily believe in it and he knows that certain things are wrong which may cause him to turn his back and be ostracized in the future.
My thoughts are all over the place with this guy but if anyone truly wanted to talk about his characterization I could probably do a quick reread and really write down everything.

So not to waste this post, I finally got around to reading Kouguu no Omega from my backlog, and enjoyed it more than I expected due to the scale of the story it tried to tell and the character types (I'm not into blonds, but his cynical commentary and grouchy narrowed eyes are good. Droop eye brown top who gets silent flustered like a kid is very cute). The author draws some nice fangs too. I was disappointed however that they didn't do anything with the bottom showing up in full furs to a hot ass country - it's ABO, his sweat should be a plot point. And after an eight year time skip there's zero change in his face or body, not even any comments about him being more delicate or bony (or even soft where the skin sags a bit and he has less muscle?). The time period of the setting was completely fucked as well, they had seaplanes in chapter one but everything appears to be practically medieval with all the weapons being blades, the bottom growing up in a rugs-on-the-wall stone castle, and the styles of dress all being out of fanciful period dramas. Would have been so easy to avoid by changing it to a boat and saying he took weeks or months to arrive. They could have even made it a fantastical flying machine or blimp and made it work, considering its setting also has giant tame tigers that follow commands. Which was good of the author to make a solid excuse for drawing title pages where they lean against a tiger, most mangaka just throw big cats around in the colour pages and that's it, but KnO has its cute cub moments and its tiger pillow. The sex scene at the end was pretty run of the mill but Iliya had a juicy taint in one panel so I can just imagine my own shit. I'm the type who usually skips through obligatory end of series sex anyway, you'd hook me better with face close up dialogues.

Right now there seems to be a trend of Kiryeo grabbing Kang's tits, as a poorfag pirate I've liked watching how their relationship develops by proxy since the series gets a lot of good horror concept fanart and their ship has 180'd from Kang violently assaulting Kiryeo to Kiryeo eldritching in the back, and some competitive hair pulling make outs in between. It's a great contrast to the other ships where Haseong is a perpetual nervous crybaby wreck and Yoonseung does nothing but worship and make rose tinted excuses for Kiryeo's oddities. That last one is the first one you'll see if you try the comic, he gets full sparkles and bubbles at sunset while looking at his hero. Kang's sports car pick ups early on are supposed to have at least some tension, especially after he tries to kill Haseong, but it's Kiryeo in the passenger seat so of course his alien brain can't fully comprehend "wow this guy might be a serial killer and I am alone in his vehicle with him." The world needs more deadpan sanpaku with eyebags, socially retarded, smug, goofball geniuses. It's a great combo for moe comedy and Kiryeo is extremely cute and ripe for lewding.

Yes that's indeed me. Shinkurou, Hashiru. It's good but I am reading with the speed of snail because I have to read the raw and I am still a beginner. The tone is different though, since it's a seinen, but the characters are likeable IMO and the setting cool if you want some sort of historical sequel to Nige Jouzu/Elusive Samurai. I also enjoy the taiga drama about that period. Forever grateful to that anon that mentioned the two series.
