It's a fun drama series which rarely had a boring chapter. A very fun ride.

Boy's Abyss and Call of the night both evoke 2 feelings that i hadn't got anywhere until i read them.
BA has the small town vibes stronger than anything else, it's like reading Smallville but in manga form and with perverted japs in rural Japan instead of perverted americans in rural America.

Call of the Night has the strongest night life vibes. I read it during my strongest partying phase and i used to stop the uber at my friends house and walk to my home from there.
Pure kino, it was like playing Skyrim in Winter.

She even got ahead of herself to the point of stealing grandpa's savings and buy Reiji to his mom. However, Yuuko was more experienced, found out her real intentions and called Gen to give her a fucking lesson, and didn't take in consideration Chako was actually petty spiteful and ratted her back to the school authorities saying the truth about teacher having sex with Reiji.

Yeah, perfect little throwaway gag that the only real resolution to her in the story is that at the end she's interviewed about the main character and the cherrybomb and talks about how he stalked her obsessively, using him to give herself a new reputation/getting her 15 minutes of fame.

I really do like the fact that at the end you can pretty easily imagine how the adoptive son would be able to go on to huge success as a boxer and help finally give the MC/wife a comfortable living after so much trauma.
