I didn't like the FeMC very much, she was too Japanese timid and collectivised for me to like her as a person. Although I didn't really dislike her either, she just bored and annoyed me slightly.
So then it got to the part where her brother was introduced and his behavior was almost condomed and then I said "fuck this, I'm out" and dropped it.

I really liked Telework Nakadashi, the mangaka is very good.

To be fair, she had like three years working under him and she basically admits she wanted him to work up to asking her organically going from a kid sister dynamic to dating. Hard to feel too sorry for her when her plan was basically "just keep being around him til he bites".

It's also made clear that before he finds FMC, the MC was pretty much game to date anyone and is a very easygoing person so he probably would have happily entered into a relationship with tomboy kouhai if she had made a move.

It’s literally the standard JP romance. Even if it’s supposed to be a harem or love triangle, it’s ALWAYS a mono romance with gimmicks and supporting characters. If it’s a shounen romance, the girl will be the most attractive (or second if it’s a harem gimmick), if it’s a shoujo romance the guy will be the best overall. Absolutely basic standard JP romance.
