Revenue isnt reflective of popularity. It's sort of like saying mcdonalds is a popular food choice, when no sane person would consider mcdonalds their favorite place to eat. Obviously the polls here show that japanese value haikyu far more than dragon ball, even though the pool of people being polled is on the far older side, so I suspect it will become more and more irrelevant over the years.
