Yeah, that was part of what I was thinking of. They pretty much switched to Monogatari and Madoka (neither of which they felt nipples fit with). So they've not really done nipples since outside of Vampire Bund which was 2010 or so. I swear I heard a rumor that Hanekawa was originally supposed to be topless in that Kizu scene, but something in production messed it up. I wonder if they would've actually showed the nipples from the early sketches if that ended up being the case.

I was going to mention this too. I personally find it very hot, especially when you get to see butts. Something like the nude scenes in Monogatari feel special because of it. Having a build up that lets you appreciate stuff like thighs, shoulders, and bellies. Then, a climax with something that, while simply sexy, is considered pg-13 safe like a butt. It is a lot sexier than in your face stuff, and more arousing because it focuses on the shapes that are biologically attractive instead of the things we've been conditioned by society to perk up at. Maybe it is just because I prefer asses and those other parts are growing on me. But it feels like it is a lot easier make that elegant attraction with than with blatant nipples and pussy teasing. Shaft really should do an ecchi sometime.
