It's the authors first real work, the first chapter was basically the first 2 chapters of Kagurabachi sped up but after that it's pretty solid. The action scenes are great and the side characters we've seen so far are interesting, the angel chick and the MC have a good dynamic and everyone reacts appropriately to the MC's edge rather than going along with it.

Only bit that might turn you off is the MC being an unironic edgelord, remember how people made fun of "I wake up every day with fresh hatred"? That's the MC, he's very one track so far(other characters do acknowledge this btw so its an intended flaw) but as of the end of chap 5 he's starting to mellow out a bit.
