If he took any of Doraemon's gadgets and sold it to the science community, he could earn millions. Literally any gadget will do.

Wrong. They did get-rich-quick schemes several times. Most of the times it's Nobita's idea but Doraemon is also blinded by money. There is this chapter where they sold concentrated energy as a warmth and light source. Doraemon raised the price ten times by the end (much to Nobita's horror), but then their machines exploded and the light leaked into the atmosphere.

sorry Nobita just too stupid for that. also it's a violation to use Doraemon's domestic gadgets as money-making machine, the Future Cops will apprehend Doraemon for that.

Time patrols are incompetent. There are various chapters where they use time machine for monetary gain. There's also one chapter where Doraemon are trying to buy a winning lottery numbers. He simply doesn't give a fuck.

Nobita is simply retarded.

The time police were only relevant whenever the author wanted it. Doraemon's only concern about the gadget was that he didn't have enough money to pay the installment loans.

This chapter didn't age well, supposedly their plan failed because the type of currency changed but real world currency hasn't changed since the chapter came out.

>Doraemon are trying to buy a winning lottery numbers
I remember that. They was about to buy the winning ticket but left it to the dad, only to realize that the dad gave it away due to being told off by his family at the beginning of the chapter

The time police just checks the future to see if the scheme actually worked out before they interfere. Why bother if Nobita is just going to fuck up his attempt anyway?
