Also is it just me or are Guts' proportions really, really weird recently?
Did he always look like that, or did he only start getting these goofy proportions post-Miura?

Why are modern chapters so fucking short? I went back and reread the Black Swordsman Arc and was shocked by how longer and more compelling the chapters were back then.

It's not just Guts. Puck , Silat and his two bodyguards also looked really weird in this chapter. I think Daiba also looks less emaciated than he did before. He used to be skin-and-bones, if I remember correctly, but his ribcage isn't as visible anymore.

Before thinking about escaping the tomb, he first has to free himself from the prison of his own making. Maybe Isidro can help, since he was Guts' student, at least for a while, and used to really look up to him. Guts' inner struggle could culminate in a behelit activation too, since we haven't seen one in a long time, but Guts would never agree to the sacrifice, as you can see in picrel.

seems like a good time for one of the God Hand to pop up in that tomb, like Slan did in the goblin cave

I have a question about the post-Miura chapters: just how close to the original vision are they? What exactly were they left with, just vague notes on the story continuation or actual in-depth plot description? I just want to know how much of the new chapters is made up by the new writer

Controversial question. When Miura first died, Studio Gaga said they wouldn't continue Berserk because there were no notes but a few months later, they said they found a few and Miura's friend came forward saying that he was told a ending. The reason these new chapters are bad is because they said they don't want to write dialogue for characters if they're unsure of what Miura would've written, hence why everyone just silently reacts to the story around them.
I personally would have preferred if they just released those notes and left it to fans to interpret the meaning themselves. Maybe even include a section where Studio Gaga says how they would've interpreted them, as they knew him better.

The story still needs plenty of text.. Without dialogue and character development, it will never get anywhere. By refusing to write dialogue in order to not disrespect Miura's work, they are disrespecting it, since Miura would have included plenty of dialogue. They just have to try to do things like they used to, even if the lack of input from Miura will inevitably bastardize some aspects of the story.
