I think they really do have an outline of how the story is going to go, but (obviously) they don't have dialogue to go with it.
Hence why no-one talks all that much any more. They can't get the rhythm of the characters down, and obviously Miura never wrote dialogue for them, so there's a lot of non-verbal exposition.

I feel like a retard, but the lack of dialogue is making me very confused about the story. I dont understand why Silat is mad, he has never before behaved in such a way as to imply he cares about Guts' mental state or "pride as a warrior" or whatever the fuck. Old Silat probably would have just taken the opportunity to slice Guts' neck.
Then Daiba is all gung-ho about rushing Guts into the tree, is he an enemy? They fought before but he was starting to respect western magic, and he was hanging out with Rickert, I assumed when they fled Falconia that he would be a straight up ally the next time we met them.
Is the tree meant to kill Guts? Seal him? Heal him? Is this something they use often or did they just happen upon it, and even they barely know what it will do? Are they afraid of Guts? Why wouldn't they consider using him or even talking to him to see if he's down to help fight Falconia?

If I was inclined to research this I'd look into the dates of certain statements to see if they predate Miura's death. It's for sure confirmed they were long-time friends and collaborators in the sense that they helped each other out with manga (damn does this mean Miura in some sense is responsible for Suicide Island, Destroy and Revolution?), but maybe Mori played into that to make up that Miura had already fixed his sights on a definite ending before he died. The entire purpose of the past 2 months or so in universe was to fix Casca, avoid demons. That's it. Schierke, who has actually been in Guts' mind, didn't even know what Griffith was or how he related to Guts during the Elfhelm invasion.

Unless Guts has spoken about the Brand, Eclipse, Godhand and Apostles all off screen then there's a lot of exposition due to the party to set the plan forward. Daiba deliberately told the emperor about guts’ curse so the emperor wouldn’t kill guts. Daiba specifically selected the tomb for guts because he knows it will help guts in some way. I think guts will have some sort of confrontation with himself and this will get him back on his feet.

Guts will never use his behelit. The writers want you to think that. I think that either one of Guts’ crew members or else skull knight will use the behelit and this will be the final betrayal to guts. I think Skull knight is gonna try to sacrifice guts and his crew (guts won’t die but some of his crew members will) The current arc isn’t rock bottom yet, mark my words.

Yes and no. If killing the Incarnated Griffith kills the Godhand Griffith then the whole Conviction arc makes no sense. Griffith had to incarnate to directly meddle with shit in the Physical world since he can't do so with him as Godhand. The same logic applies with killing him. The behelit will activate and SK will encourage guts to make the sacrifice. We'll find out SK sacrificed his crew for his current power level and that guts sacrifice would be strong enough to rival Griffith. He won't take the deal and he'll somehow merge with his shadow which makes him impossibly strong. SK will do something to redeem himself and will turn back into a human before his death. We'll have a father son moment between guts and SK and the godhand will gtfo before guts attacks them again.

Speedreader-kun... SK died during Void's eclipse. Him being a literal walking corpse has something to do with Schierke's master Flora as it was implied she did some forbidden voodoo magic to get banished from Skellig. Also, you have forgotten the fundamental aspect of how Apostles work. If SK was an Apostle all along, Guts' and Casca's marks of the sacrifice would bleed.
