I did enjoy the unit shuffles in DMF/Pripara, but the feeling I have is that such a thing is very unlikely to happen in this show due to the extreme emphasis on associating duos with the interpersonal relationship(s) comprising them. It's a bit hard to describe since it's like about how your brain processes what you're seeing, but like Chii and Himari are very clearly different colors, but if those individual colors are isolated from others to reference them with it can be hard to tell which color is supposed to be what. Like in the Ring Clover eyes, it's some reddish color but it's not really clear what it is. Sorry if that's a weird explanation, it is kind of hard to describe what it's like.

no, the cabs are just old. parts are failing and you can't tell what part because there's no error messages for hardware failure aside from a generic one for the main I/O board, i saw a blog from a person fixing them and i think it boiled down to checking every part individually for damage. so pripara is stuck on divine live 06 forever

really good question, i think my favourites stayed pretty consistent though i'd struggle to order them. i particularly like bell, at first i wasn't actually sure on how instantly she changed character but there is some backtracking here and there which i liked. it's funny because i don't usually like characters like her (nothing against them).
rinne before getting her memories back is one of my favourite character archetypes and seeing her change and leave was bittersweet. shoutouts to wakana because cat and naru nailed the super happy main character without being annoying.
i don't have super strong opinions on ann, ito and otoha though i liked the episodes where otoha was with prism stone.
also dj coo is so cool you guys. i really appreciate having silly characters like him and momo around

I personally really like it when they portray family issues in children's shows like Digimon Adventure and Ojamajo Doremi.

i have no issues with the depiction of family drama as a concept, it's a completely logical and realistic source of conflict that is (unfortunately) inherently relatable to a part of the audience, kids included. doremi is a great example that you listed, aiko's family drama is one of the consistent emotional highpoints throughout the entire show, every time she gets an episode about her family situation it's really poignant and well done. definitely thats the example i love the most, glad you listed it.
