Isn't she a canon rich girl? She has a camcorder that must have cost upwards of $100 in 1998, plus she has a whole bunch of cosplay outfits for Sakura to wear. I imagine her folks can probably just afford good tutors or whatever. She's just well-put-together if anything.

Sakura is in fourth grade. She is an elementary schooler. She's ten. The series-not even counting Clear Card-has her hunting down and defeating dozens of entities that are actively trying to kill her and winning repeatedly. She actively takes responsibility for problems that are MORE THAN adult in nature and solves them by bring clever. Multiple times she has to be resourceful or employ her tools creatively, and she has to do it under maximum pressure. She also has *insane* kinesthetic ability and coordination, athleticism, the ability to cook and do domestic stuff, and the occasional expression of emotional capacities that are themselves very adult.
I hate that we're even having this conversation, but there's no way Sakura IRL would be low IQ. I know she has moments of "oh I'm a ditzy anime protagonist girl" but she's not even half as bad as, say, Usagi in that regard. Like interpersonally I feel like Usagi would be the dumbass friend who blurts out some stupid shit you didn't want her to say, and Sakura would intuit it in advance and be cool about it. She's at least perceptive and competent.
