The is the closest you get to calling something a Proto-trigger anime. Except it's an Ootsuka anime and he will never be appreciated or recognized as one of the key people who made trigger what it is by most people.
If anything I'm surprised you didn't bring up Re: Cutie Honey because it's the first time Nakashima and Imaishi worked together on something which is what I beleive is the reason KlK would eventually be made. They paried up again for TTGL, KLK, Promare and BNA.
