Tomo and Yukari are bearable because of the comedic setting, specially the japanese comedic duo setting, when you get the normal but irritable person, and the retarded person. But if you knew someone like them IRL you would be either strangling them or taking the maximim distance possible
maybe thats why, for me, the best scene on the manga / series, is when Osaka wants to pull a prank on Yukari, but instead of a pan, she grabs a knife, and then the half asleep Osaka gets caught by a terrified Yukari,
Imagine someone like Tomo or Yukari raising a family. I guess thats how some psychos come to exists in the world.
