Had a Bangladeshi friend at school when I was 10. He liked Pokemon, Yugioh Zexal and Beyblade Metal Fusion.

While there's no single "most popular" anime that every Bangladeshi watches, a few titles consistently come up in discussions about popular anime in Bangladesh, especially among those who grew up watching them or are active in anime communities.
Here are some of the most popular anime in Bangladesh:
* Doraemon: This iconic children's anime is arguably the most widely recognized and watched anime in Bangladesh, transcending age groups due to its long-standing presence on local TV channels. Many people who might not consider themselves "anime fans" have watched Doraemon.
* Naruto/Naruto: Shippuden: This shonen powerhouse is extremely popular, especially among younger generations and active anime communities. References to Naruto are very common.
* Dragon Ball Z: Another classic shonen anime that has a large and dedicated fanbase in Bangladesh, often watched during childhood.
* Attack on Titan: This series gained significant traction and is highly respected for its darker themes and intense action.
* Death Note: Known for its psychological thriller elements, Death Note has a strong following and is often a gateway anime for many.
* One Piece: While a very long-running series, One Piece has a considerable fanbase in Bangladesh, with many following the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates.
* Jujutsu Kaisen: A more recent hit, it has quickly gained popularity among anime enthusiasts.
It's also worth noting that the popularity of anime has been growing in Bangladesh, with film screenings of popular anime movies in local cinemas and the rise of local anime communities and content creators.

Like everywhere else...Shounen. That's the reason why people get into anime in the very first place since their childhood and the only things that Chad watch which you can enjoy without being bullied hell, cool kids watch it and so did successful adults without being ostracized. It's when you grow up that you start to goon to some booty ass romance light novel magical girl eroge kawaii pussy slop instead of a faggotish muscular mecha wrestler superhero pecks and abs. Get real. That's how we got into this stuff in the very first place it's Normie shounen Pokemon shit.
Go back to your roots. It's a much more simpler time

Tokusatsu is very big in Malaysia. I heard that's why they revived the Ultraman franchise after a long hiatus or so they told me; because we bought many of the franchise commercial interests. That's why the first Ultra after it is called Tiga which means 3 in Malay. So many Ultra series are dubbed in Malay. I figure it's probably true for anime as well but still American market is more lucrative for many anime series unlike Ultraman so we have no sway here.

>>280142242
I mean the anime there are just generic shounen that's why I assume it's a copypasta but then again it's not that surprising. This list is probably true for many countries.

Would you risk downloading hentai on to his computer?
Plus it had games and such, like Final Fantasy iirc.
He was cooped up all day and night in a compound for years. Well educated, exposed to western culture, from a very upper class family.
He was rich enough that everyone could have their own computers.
I'd bet it was his stuff.
Obviously we can't be 100% sure, but I'd take the bet.
Even if it was second hand in the sense that it was someone else's completely unrelated to him, you'd think he'd be smart enough to format at the very least considering he knows the NSA/CIA etc are after him.

>Most don’t
Most don't, sure. Vast majority don't.
But many do stimulants(captagon(amphetamine), yaba(meth) for example) because like caffeine you can argue that it's not an 'intoxicant' and not necessarily haram.
I'd actually kind of agree in a way. Since they can be prescribed by doctors.

Pretty much what >>280142794 said. Growing up in the Middle East, Arabic dubs of Captain Tsubasa (Captain Majid), Heidi Girl of the Alps and Future Boy Conan were aired on the same channels as other cartoons. Later on, Spacetoon hit the scene, airing almost entirely Arabic-dubbed anime (usually whatever shonenshit was popular in the West). I don't think young me, my Arabic parents, or the TV network guys in charge of selecting these shows knew or cared that they were Japanese productions, or that they may have contained potentially haram messages or content. They were just goofy TV shows for children.

Don't do drugs?maybe but you should be aware that hashish itself is an Arabic word but Afghanistan and Pakistan? That's where opioids come from and yes they do consume it and not just for export. Saying that they don't do drugs is like saying mcd don't serves beef.
Anonymous No.280143971 [Report]
>>280143289
You can find hookah places and hashish over there, but their consumption is disavowed by the majority of older, religious Arab guys. From my interactions with my straight edge Arab Dad's boomer friends, their only vices seem to be tobacco and maybe pornography, if anything. Saying all Arabs over there do drugs is like claiming every American vapes or smokes weed. It might be true for some, but it's a shaky generalization nonetheless.
