Just finished reading this part, he is charming but it might be the weakest part of the baki manga with part 1 still the strongest, not alot of happened here and yuujiro just doesnt fight him again for some weird reason, the endng was abrupt and the old man never pays the consequences for what he did.

>the old man never pays the consequences for what he did.

He's filthy stinkin' rich and has enough murderhobo fight autists in his connections to make anyones life a living hell if they ever tried to charge him with anything. Tokugawa himself wouldn't even have to say anything, the Fighters depend on him and would go for his defense immediately
Imagine having to deal with a hundred Karateka's led by Doppo outside your doorstep

I genuinely don't understand this part.
>Musashi says "enough talk" against Baki, they do exactly one thing and then start talking again
>Baki says he'll kill him but he doesn't kill him
>Musashi says "YOU ATE IT?" and even Baki doesn't seem to understand
Am I just too small brained? I don't get it.

The whole 'you ate it' thing was some kind of Japanese idiom apparently.

>Baki says he'll kill him but he doesn't kill him
Technically he said if he'd attack Hanayama one more time then he'd kill him

>Musashi says "YOU ATE IT?" and even Baki doesn't seem to understand
When first meeting Baki Musashi looked at a giant pile of dishes that symbolized each and every fighting technique he learned and could do. This showed each a technique that Baki would of gladly showed him if he ever wanted to fight. It all showed that despite how deadly they both were the fight would be enjoyable and fun, like having a meal. Hence while still being smashed to the ground and mind sliced to unconsciousness Baki was hyped up. But later on during the final battle the food was all gone, eaten. This showed that Baki wasn't going to show off a move for enjoyment but instead symbolized that he was going to unleash his full arsenal of moves against him, he ate everything and didn't share. Musashi took that as a threat. In short Baki wasn't gonna fight for fun, what he saw what Musashi was going to do to Hanayama was something he wasn't gonna forgive him for.
