Minako appears much earlier in the original, also the DD girls fight takes two episodes and it's more of a drawn out struggle where the sailors only decide to kamikaze themselves when they see no other way to win.
Black Lady is the true final boss of R, Wiseman gets cucked by his own creation. It does not end with talk-no-jutsu, Moon has to finish it properly. As a result, Chibiusa fucks off permanently after that.
The last 3 witches in S get more episodes, Mimete only gets three at worst. And I dunno, make the main senshis a little more relevant.
There is no Chibiusa, hence the entirety of SuperS simply does not happen. Good riddance.

The horse could only exist specifically inside a dream world and if the person in question still has a "beautiful dream". The body swap magic makes it so Chibiusa loses these requirements, both because becoming bigger was something she dreams of and it was caused by dark magic from one of the enemies. She manages to reverse the spell because she really didn't want Pegasus to leave, and that's it.

Anyways, original/R/S all have plot progression or character development tied to both their SOL, occasionally cool fights and whatever the villains are doing.
SuperS drops everything in favor of 40 episodes worth of much more dry SOL, absolutely no fucking progression whatsoever, mostly retreading the same steps in terms of character subplots, and it focused on the worst characters in the series(respectively Chibiusa and her horse bf). It also has the worst fights ever like holy shit, although some are very hilarious.

Then chapter 2 you go through each of the guardians by themselves in some natural setting(glacier, amazon). An rpg just isn't fun with 1 character in battle with a few moves and items. The exact equation aside, what you need to know is both that damage is a "all or nothing" kind of deal. A few stat points in attack/defense is the difference between doing 3 damage and 300 to the same enemy. Same is true about the damage you take, so it's usually either getting one shot, two shot, or tanking everything the enemy does.
The second, but equally important thing you should know is that where you place the senshis in a formation and which shape you are using is a straight multiplier to both incoming and outcoming damage. For instance whoever is in the middle of a cluster formation has a massive x4 applied to it, so as long you can protect them they will shit out big numbers, given their attack isn't too low. General rule is that front means higher numbers, backrow means lower numbers, cluster is an odd one because the middle position is higher than the front, the others work as intended.
Individual skills are also stronger than links for damage purposes, but links are very useful for support.

Also for Ami in specific, Shabon Spray does not deal any damage. The number you see is how much attack the enemy lost, and this effect is only applied once so it's pointless to spam it. The solution for that fight would be ensuring you can survive at least one hit from the center of cluster/front of arrow, apply the debuff, and then rape her with Shine Aqua Illusion. Buying Manicure in ch1 should help if she still isn't strong enough.
The other senshis won't have this issue in their respective ch2 sections because their attack is higher, but they don't have shabon spray backing them off, so I just went for using the default formation and swapping accessories around.

This one is interesting because if you are talking about her character, yes absolutely, she is straight up antagonistic for a while.
But from a meta standpoint, R is where it makes the most sense and is well-integrated to the plot, Chibiusa and Usagi have an actual conflict going on over the silver crystal, the former is not entirely at fault because she can't really tell if it's a good idea to trust Usagi with her problems until later.
For me the most annoying was actually S Chibiusa, forcing herself as a senshi(with an useless attack) and with the outers plot through Hotaru.
In SuperS it's a lost cause really, I can't even say she is stomping on a plot because well... there isn't one.

The anime director only got their hands on early drafts. So maybe Chibiusa was intended to stay a brat originally or the director just preferred how she was when she first appears. Viz is a direct translation, but has the generic 'modern anime' vibe where nobody has any real identity. DiC tries to make itself seem like a western cartoon and also tried to age down the target demographic. it's very silly and dumb but not accurate to the original story.
