Moving from mid B right to mid A is crazy fast, it’s a huge promotion.
Guys we’ve seen above this rank are hard working super humans with good popularity, and plus he blew right past Fubuki.
Fubuki and Mask sit at the top of the rank and stop others from rising but they can only do that if a hero is usually only getting promoted one or two ranks at a time. So saitama’s promotion seems pretty exceptional by hero association standards. At least since that original search for strong heroes when they found the current S-Class.

The thing is, and this is something someone mentions before but I can't recall whom, when looking at that they probably think more in the lines of those A rank heroes that show up, stay at the side, help a bit, get their asses kicked, and then real powerhouses do the heavy lifting.

To be honest, I think Tatsumaki vs Geryuganshoop might be similar to Fubuki vs Psykos.

Tatsumaki is superior in raw power, but it's implied by Murata (perhaps with ONE having told him this by the way he spoke) that Geryuganshoop's skill level is superior to Tatsumaki's, while this doesn't make him stronger than her against non-psychic opponents it could make him a hard counter to her in a similar way to how Fubuki counter Psykos.

Considering that Geryuganshoop's claim to be the greatest psychic in the universe may even be due to his level of skill rather than his raw power.
