I hope the new anime and all the support from other mangaka have given Tabata inspiration. Spade Raid should hopefully be animated amazingly and serve as a visual spectacle. I do wonder if maybe some of the more questionable writing /rushed stuff came partly from him being demoralised by the anime ending (of course the rl personal family stuff obviously would be a bigger factor).

But hopefully seeing BC get actual hype now might help him think “oh yeah, let’s bring back Mars. Let’s show Spirit Dive Fuegoleon. Leopold, Gordon…your time to shine is now”

I wouldn't say he was demoralized because it ended, however, I think the anime catching up to the manga was the main reason he had a timeskip for the heart kingdom and the main reason they didn't feel as developed as characters from previous arcs, and things just snowball from there.

Has that actually been confirmed, because I don't see it mentioned anywhere? I think it would make more sense to adapt the Spade arc first and then try to cover things like the dwarfs and the earth spirit in a movie set between the Spade arc and the final arc. If they adapt everything in one go then all that stuff is never getting explored, which would be very lame.

It's the second time I tried watching it and for the second time I dropped it by the witch forest part.
Yeah you could say I got filtered twice, but boy is it absolutely trash, I was even able to finish demon slayer somehow by turning my brain off and fast forwarding most of it, Black Clover is in a league of it's own man.
