Shoushimin was horrible. I dropped it after the who-fucking-cares "mystery" of who stole the pastry from the student council room. It made me wonder how I managed to sit through all of Hyouka back in the day.
I like Lapin Track as a studio, but this was their first dud since Endride. Sadly, their next one is a run-of-the-mill romcom adaptation.

Both examples in the OP are poor adaptations.
The Nazotoki anime rewrote all everything and Your Forma didn't even adapt the first book.

looking at the seasonal list the only hope is looking like the GITS adaption next year. Outside of that its just Mattaku Saikin no Tantei to Kitara the only 'detective' show left of 2025 which looks like terrible.

Murder Farce was enjoyable at first and peaked at the Sherlock Holmes arc. Then the werewolf arc started and it crashed out so fucking hard it's unbelievable. I'm talking Orb levels of shitting the bed at the final stretch. Every character turned into a retard, the entire point of their mission finding the werewolves was abandoned for no reason, they ended up helping the villains despite vowing to stop them. Massive hyping up of invincible rapemonsters that all jobbed immediately like little bitches. Just the worst.
