Detective shows require an intelligent person to write intelligent characters.

In every case, however, the author is a retarded just trying to write intelligent characters.

Still sounds very low despite what the thread says. I guess the question then is: is 2.7% enough to make such profit as to make a show. Which does sound like a yes, even if it's a low rating. But then people either don't make these shows or fuck them up because doing a good one would be too difficult or too costly?

Shoushimin was horrible. I dropped it after the who-fucking-cares "mystery" of who stole the pastry from the student council room. It made me wonder how I managed to sit through all of Hyouka back in the day.
I like Lapin Track as a studio, but this was their first dud since Endride. Sadly, their next one is a run-of-the-mill romcom adaptation.

If you took tv ratings from like 10 years ago they'd be considered low, but now usually half of the top 10 tv anime have ratings in 2s, including freaking One Piece.

Murder Farce was enjoyable at first and peaked at the Sherlock Holmes arc. Then the werewolf arc started and it crashed out so fucking hard it's unbelievable. I'm talking Orb levels of shitting the bed at the final stretch. Every character turned into a retard, the entire point of their mission finding the werewolves was abandoned for no reason, they ended up helping the villains despite vowing to stop them. Massive hyping up of invincible rapemonsters that all jobbed immediately like little bitches. Just the worst.
