100 usd isn't exactly that much. I could make that amount in less than 4 hours since I make 28 usd an hour in my job. Now compare that time to a one year subscription. Quite huge difference for such a measly amount. You know what's sad? A decent VPN costs roughly the same amount and you have to do more work and manage your libraries and such.
