Great coloring on this page. You can see more of the fine lines on his father's face. Grief has aged him. The stylized shadow on Shinichi's face makes him look as if he really has half turned to metal. It's interesting that it's on his left side.

It's his right side that's supposed to be cold and inhuman. The shadow falling on his face the way it does is due to how the scene was set up, with Shinichi entering the room from his father's right/our left, but that was an artistic choice that could've been changed. Perhaps it was supposed to be symbolic of the fact that Shinichi is putting on a mask with his father, and ironically can be more open when talking to Migi. Or it's a coincidence. But that's boring.

I love this manga. The best character was Reiko.

She was hilarious. and it was surprisingly sad when she was killed.
It didn't really make much sense why she died shielding her baby from police , because if she had held put the baby down on the ground the baby would have been less likely to get shot by bullets than if she tried covering the baby with her body , and then she couold have tried to run away herself and maybe survived and be able to get her baby later from a hospital or social services.
